In full compliance with S.O.L.A.S. new requirements, the new rescue boat SV-420 design increases both length and beam, providing a 25% increase on the usable room on deck compared to the previous model (SV-400).
Therefore the new rescue boat SV-420 enables to place the new compulsory stretcher on deck, in order to enable placement of at least one injured person. Additionally, the SV 420 has transverse seats for all the passengers and a bow locker to store all the necessary equipment.
This new length rescue boat intends to improve boat capacity and performance, allowing a quicker and more effective answer when facing an emergency situation.
SV-420 complies with SOLAS 1974 as amended and also with the Directive 96/98/CE, amended by the Directive 2002/75/EC on Marine Equipment (MED), under the EC TYPE-EXAMINATION CERTIFICATON MED-B-9277. According to this certification, the SV-420 and SV-480 can be fitted as rescue boats in all vessels with Community flag and in any country where SOLAS rules are accepted. Each boat is supplied with the relevant Conformity Declaration, identification plate and with maintenance and user manuals.
